The Overlooked Tool: Consistency

Over the years I’ve added many tools to my health toolkit—but one of the most obvious (and often neglected) is consistency.

Here’s the thing: consistency doesn’t discriminate. If you consistently do things that aren’t good for your health, you’ll still see results—just not the ones you want.

Why People Don’t Always Get Results

In my experience, the top three reasons clients don’t see the outcomes they hoped for are:

  1. They’re not doing the program consistently
  2. They’re doing exercises incorrectly
  3. The chosen exercises aren’t quite right for their individual body

Interestingly, every client who has completed a 7-Day Trial Program has experienced some change—maybe not exactly the one they came in for, but a shift nonetheless and it’s a start. That’s proof that the body responds when we show up.

Real Day-to-Day Wins

The real magic isn’t in the program itself, but in the everyday changes people notice:

  • ✅ Better sleep (I often weave deep breathing into the program)
  • ✅ Easier getting in/out of a car
  • ✅ Ability to squat, reach, and move more easily
  • ✅ Walking taller with better posture
  • ✅ Less or no pain
  • ✅ Deeper squats, improved mobility
  • ✅ Easier stair climbing
  • ✅ More comfortable massages
  • ✅ A client in her 60s said she can now lift her leg high enough to shave
  • ✅ Over time: even improved sexual function (yes, consistency really matters!)

How to Start Building Consistency

Consistency doesn’t mean perfection. Here are a few practical ways to get started:

  • Habit stack: Link a new habit to something you already do (e.g., do your stretches after brushing your teeth).
  • Start small: Commit to 5 minutes instead of 30—small wins add up.
  • Accountability: Share your goals with someone who will cheer you on.

Could This Be You?

If you’re struggling with everyday tasks—walking several blocks, climbing stairs, carrying groceries, or even sitting at your desk without pain—it may be time to lean into consistency.

Even small, regular changes can help you reclaim mobility, reduce discomfort, and feel stronger in your day-to-day life.

A Final Word

Have a wonderful day and stay consistent 😊

P.S. Many of the exercises in my tool kit are passive but highly effective. Some can even be done while sitting in your chair. There’s truly something for everyone.
